XM7 Weapon Storage Rack
The XM7 assault rifle, previously known as the XM5 is the United States Army variant of the SIG MCX Spear, a 6.8×51mm (.277 in), gas-operated, magazine-fed, assault rifle designed by firearms manufacturer SIG Sauer for the Next Generation Squad Weapon Program in 2022 to replace the U.S. Army M4 carbine.
The Next Generation Squad Weapon-Rifle (NGSW-R) is a U.S. military project aimed at developing a new standard-issue rifle for the U.S. Army and potentially other branches of the military. The NGSW-R program began in the late 2010s to replace the current M4 carbine and M16 rifle platforms used by U.S. soldiers.
XM7s are stored double-tiered inside full-height Combat Weapon Racks. They can be stored in single tier stackable weapon racks and also be stored in a mid-tier height weapon rack.
