M2 Weapon Storage Rack – M2s are .50 caliber machine guns, nicknamed Ma Deuce and used extensively as a vehicle weapon, aircraft armament and also on Naval vessels. M2s are among a small group of heavy weapons that require additional storage space inside of weapon racks. The barrel requires an extra wide barrel saddle to support the weapon.

With the M2 weighing in excess of 70 lbs per weapon, we have designated an extra heavy duty reinforced steel heavy weapon base to support the weight of the M2 and 2 spare barrels per .50 cal to ensure the weapon will always be stored angled away from the door of the weapon rack to the back of the cabinet.

Our fully welded M2 Weapon Storage Rack cabinets meet & exceed  US DOD physical security regulations including AR 190-11, OPNAVINST 5530.13C, DOD 5100.76-M & MCO 5530.14A for arms storage requirements and stowage of small arms & are also TACOM certified with assigned National Stock Numbers and on our GSA Schedule GS-07F-0661W.

Combat Weapon Storage Systems are ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 manufactured, offering the highest quality manufacturing standards in the industry.

M2 Weapon Storage Rack

M2s are part of a group of heavy weapons in arms rooms that take additional rack space to store weapons. M2s max out at 4 weapons per 36″ W weapon rack including 2 spare barrels for each .50 cal machine gun. Due to their size, a 5th M2 is not able to be stored in a 42″ W weapon rack. M2s are able to be stored with the spare barrel attached.

M2s can be stored in single tier weapon racks (50″ H) but due to their weight these racks should not be stacked. M2s can also be stored in a mid-tier height weapon rack with one tier of M2s and shelves above. M2s can be stored in full height weapon racks with M4s stored above or with shelves for miscellaneous storage.
