M240 Weapon Storage Rack – M240s are 7.62 mm belt fed machine guns. M240s are typically stored with spare barrels, which can be stored with the weapon in a spare barrel bag hung on a hook or hung directly on the hook or peg. M240s are stored double spaced inside Combat Weapon Racks to allow for the spacing of the bi-pod attached to the weapon.
The M240B is the most common variant of M240s stored in Combat Weapon Racks with the M240L starting to replace the M240B in US Army units.
